Privacy Policy: The "No-Tracking" Agreement

1. What We Collect

• Phone Number: We use this as your account ID so you can request episodes via SMS or WhatsApp. We do not use it to send you the actual audio files.
• Your Topics: We store the topics you "wonder" about to research and generate your episodes.
• Payment Info: Securely handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full credit card details.

2. How We Handle Data

To turn your text into a narrative podcast, we share your topic with our AI partners (OpenAI and Anthropic) and our communication partners:

• Meta: For WhatsApp interactions.
• Telnyx: For SMS interactions.

These partners are not permitted to use your personal data to train their models.

3. Our Privacy Stance

• No Selling: We will never sell your phone number, your email, or your search history to anyone.
• No Marketing: We won't spam you with "special offers." We only text you when you text us first.
• No Tracking: We don't use third-party tracking pixels or "creepy" analytics on our landing page.

4. Your Rights

If you want to scrub your history or delete your account, email support@distill.audio. We will delete your data from our systems immediately.

5. Jurisdiction

We operate out of Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, and adhere to Canadian privacy standards.
